I ordered the Luxor mattress online when I compared it to the Sleep Number 9000. I saved roughly $2000 buying this bed over the Select Comfort model. After sleeping on the Luxor mattress I found that the features and controls are even better. It had the same Outlast Fabric as the 9000, but offered a better air chamber system.

I purchased an adjustable bed with the split top mattress. I was recommended to the Comfortaire mattress by a friend and also tried this mattress in is home before I purchased online. My wife and are free to adjustable our position and have the opportunity to roll over and not worry about the split being a problem. I was sold on this product once I tried the traditional split king adjustable mattress.

This was a large purchase for us and especially for an online purchase, but we tried the Sleep Number 9000 model and when we came online we did not know that there were air models that were much better than the Sleep Number models we had encountered in the store. We wanted the best!! Since it gets cold here in NYC we decided to select the Platinum bed based on the fact that it has a cozy cashmere winter side.
